When I was a kid, I dreamt about being an artist and living in the country. After graduating from CSU Sacramento with a degree in Digital Media, I moved as far as I could out of the countryside, to beautiful and busy Los Angeles. I began in the Art Department, unaware that my passion for design would thrive as a graphic artist for film, TV, and commercials.


After 11 years in LA, I made the move back to rural Northern California to fulfill my childhood dreams, share my passion for design,

…and help you thrive with bold logos, branding, and graphics.

When I’m not designing magic, you can find me catching up with friends, hitting the mountains or the beach, and enjoying all the beauty our state has to offer.

FOLKY, FUNKY FLUFFY, AND FUN

While I’m designing, I'm listening to music or podcasts. I’m especially fond of indie, folk, bossa nova, jazz, hip-hop, and fluffy fun podcasts about Pop Culture, Rupaul’s Drag Race, and Sex and The City (Shoutout to my fav, Every Outfit!).

YES, CHEF

In another life, I would have been a chef. I’m a cookbook collector, an avid cooking competition show watcher, and the recipe tester/sharer for my family and friends. 

I love vintage clothing and housewares. Give me anything mid-century and I’m a happy lady. Oh and I also am a dog-mom, cat-mom, chicken-mom, plant-mom, and human-mom… mom to all the things.

Design is a collaborative process… a dance.

COLLABORATION IS MY SUPERPOWER.

I chose the name Design with Zoe because I believe that design is a collaborative process, from start to finish. Working as a graphic artist for Film and Television productions, it was always a group effort to create graphics for set dressing and props.
I worked closely with art directors and production designers to help bring their visions to life. 

I’ve now brought my collaborative superpower to my own business, and it’s one of the cornerstones of DWZ.

Working together to achieve your branding goals will always be my top priority, because this is your business in the end, and as a fellow business owner…
I know how important it is to put your best most authentic self forward, in business,
and in life.
